We are actively seeking an ICC Special Inspector/Experienced Construction Materials Field Technician for our Media, PA office.

Primary job functions include field observation, testing, sampling and review of including, but not limited to soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, fireproofing, and structural steel placement.


Requirements:


  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Applicable ICC Certifications in at least one of the following categories: Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Spray-Applied Fire Proofing, etc.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Must meet additional preemployment criteria.
  • Reliable vehicle suitable for use on construction sites.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, as required.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 6080 pounds (soil and concrete samples, nuclear gauges, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication sills
  • Ability to interpret engineering and construction plans/specifications
  • Basic math and computer skills
