Starts: May or June 2024

Hours: Tuesdays from 9 am to 6 pm (or until finish)

Location: 518 York Street, Newport, KY (until mid-June) moving to 2366 Kemper Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45209

Pay: Competitive based on experience, Paid time off, Seasonal team activities, Free Staff meal, great work environment shaped by employee feedback, and eligibility for company-matched 401K after 1 year of service

Join our expanding team to engage our food community with the seasons through weekly meal prep and cooking classes. This part-time position of 8-10 hours per week offers the potential for additional hours, with compensation based on experience.

Join Goosefoot Cook and Grow and our skilled team of culinary experts focused on seasonal cooking. Goosefoot is the sister company of The Heirloom Chef in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, established in 2011.

As a company, we prioritize nurturing relationships that enrich our clients and communities, sourcing locally from farmers and food artisans. Our dishes cater to various dietary needs like gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, AIP, and Paleo.

Responsibilities include:

Food Preparation
Cleansing of dishes and work area
Deliveries to clients
Develop strong interpersonal connections with clients, the team, and partners
Act as an enthusiastic representative of our values and brand to current and potential clients
Arrange food containers
Procure new containers as necessary
Monitor containers sent to new clients

We are looking for candidates:

With minimum 1 year experience in the culinary field or adept home cooks
Experienced in client interaction, receptive to feedback, and responsive to client requirements
ServeSafe certified or willing to obtain certification
Exhibit exceptional communication and service abilities for client interactions
Own a reliable vehicle for food transport to and from clients' residences
Possess a clean driving record
Able to pass a background check
