• Compass Coffee was founded in 2014 by two Marines who, after years of drinking terrible coffee on deployment, became obsessed with the quest for the perfect cup. What began as a desire to unlock the secret to perfect coffee grew into something much more significant. It was the realization that coffee is more than just a drink. Compass Coffee has since expanded to 16 cafes in and around DC where Real Good Coffee is served and communities are formed. • Lead and motivate a team of drivers and warehouse staff working across two shifts
• Manage inventory of 300+ SKUs, a mix of products we manufacture and purchase from outside suppliers
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders across sales channels
• Maintain accurate inventory in ERP software, working to minimize variance
• Oversee maintenance and cleaning of Compass vehicles
• Keep clean and well organized the physical distribution spaces including the warehouse, loading dock and shipping and receiving areas

• Strong communicator, working directly with suppliers, customers and other Compass team members in writing and orally
• Selfmotivated and capable of motivating others to complete the job, safely, accurately and efficiently
• Digitally fluent, comfortable using our ERP system to achieve effective inventory management A systems builder

• Must be able to multitask and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team.
• 2+ years warehouse management experience
• 3+ years of management experience leading a team in a fastpaced, customeroriented role
• A bachelor's degree, 4 years honorable discharge US Military, or 4 years management experience

• Clean driving record, able and willing to learn to drive a variety of vehicles (non CDL) in and around Washington, DC
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted, 75lbs with a buddy
• Ability to stand for periods up to 8hrs, moving frequently to help pack orders

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
• Fluency in English, Spanish preferred but not required
• Proficient in computer use, including ERP software
• Likes coffee and believes in the value of what we do
