    Duration: Longterm

    Location: Washington, DC (Once in a month)

    Project Overview:

    Sky Solutions provides training development and delivery services to assist OAAM in supporting the core mission and grants processes of OJP, the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), and the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) (as applicable).

    The overall scope of the project includes grants management-related training support services. The various types of services for this effort include but are not limited to development and maintenance of eLearning products, learning and instructional resources; acquiring subject matter expertise to provide professional instruction and facilitation in a variety of formats to meet the needs of the audience; and assist with the registration, communications, and logistics for the training. The contractor will review, confirm accuracy, and update training materials on an ongoing basis, as determined in coordination with OAAM. OAAM continues to build upon its current services incorporating lessons learned and best practices to provide exceptional and effective learning experiences to internal and external customers.

    Job Description:

    The individual(s) proposed for this position shall take the lead role in all phases of training. He or she shall be knowledgeable and highly skilled in training and presentation techniques. He or she shall work with the COR, ACOR, and GMD Deputy Director, as applicable, to identify training requirements and objectives, identify appropriate and specific training materials, identify training delivery methods, and media. This individual shall:
    • Research training topics to be covered to acquire the necessary knowledge and ensure a holistic understanding of the material to be covered and provide recommendations to the government on best practice approaches to training delivery.
    • Develop customized training delivery plans and facilitation guides for learning opportunities based on training needs assessment information.
    • Deliver high-quality, effective, user-level training sessions.
    • Assist with developing and revising training content for learning opportunities.
    • Conduct evaluations with DOJ staff to gather feedback regarding new learning opportunities for grants management staff.
    • Design and develop training evaluations and related metrics for all learning sessions.
    • Identify classroom setup requirements, set up web-based conference platforms, determine and schedule resources needed, monitor training sessions, and report the effectiveness of training to the COR or the ACOR.
    • Collect, analyze, and prepare reports from evaluation data on participants' feedback from grants-related learning sessions.
    • Compile lessons learned for all learning opportunities delivered by the contractor, and
    • Collaborate with the OAAM training project manager to develop and launch training needs assessment surveys in platforms such as MAXSurvey.
    Education/Experience:

    This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field plus three (3) years of demonstrated experience in all facets of the training methods listed in the project description and demonstrated experience supporting a grants management lifecycle and grants management system and acquiring the applicable subject area knowledge necessary to effectively train diverse audiences on a variety of topics in a fast-paced, agile environment.
