S.T.A.R.S. is a group home for teens. We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time, Summer Enrichment Counselor.

The Summer Enrichment Counselor actively and enthusiastically supervises the residents, teaching independent living and social skills, problem solving, crisis management, providing behavior support, documentation, and being a positive role model.

Summer Enrichment Counselors will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks: running daily groups, supervising residents during educational activities, assisting with community service projects, transportation to/from medical appointments, preparing and serving lunch/snacks, attending field trips.

We have the following shift available:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, starting immediately through August 21, 2024.

This position has the ability to become permanent after August.

In order to be considered, applicants must be over 21, have a high school diploma, have at least six months paid or volunteer experience working with children or teens (having your own children does not meet this requirement), be able to pass a background check, and have an enthusiastic attitude.

College degree in human services field, psychology, or related field preferred but not required.

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

No less than 40 per week
