  • Procurement Coordinator Tucson AZ
  • We are extremely excited to announce a new permanent and stable opportunity of Procurement Coordinator within the GroundProbe team.
  • Based in our recently established second production facility in Tucson, AZ, the Procurement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in establishing the local sourcing and then optimising the sourcing and managing spend categories for the continuous improvement of production performance. Reporting to the production supervisor and working closely with the procurement team in Tucson,AZ and Brisbane, Australia the role is responsible for the sourcing, procurement, purchasing and supplier management functions for the delivery of all external spend items to meet the production forecast. They shall support the execution of short
- and long-term supply chain strategy, risk and change management.
  • You need to have a high level of attention to detail and be ready to complete hands on administrative maintenance tasks. It is a unique opportunity to be part of the growth of the newly formed second production facility while working in a truly global environment.
    Work Environment
This is an in-office position based on a work schedule Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm (or 8:30am-5pm) with monthly payroll.
What you will be doing

  • Establishing local (Americas) sourcing for the production facility
  • Category management including go to market strategy, bid (RFx) process, evaluation and recommendation
  • Operational delivery through raising, confirming and expediting Purchase Orders
  • Supplier invoice review for matching against purchase order value, and troubleshooting if required
  • Supplier management including recording and tracking of Supplier Corrective Actions and responses, participating in supplier audits, investigation of delivery errors and credit requests
  • Maintain the procurement data within the AX2009 (future: Dynamics 365) and utilise the ERP for MRP, Purchase order creation, tracking
  • Support the inventory controller to complete accurate inventory forecasting, inventory related reports, data entry tasks and inventory investigations if required
  • Manage freight, invoices and prepayments
  • Update & Audit MSDS for Level Zero

What you will bring

  • Have demonstrable work experience relating to the attributes/skill sets required
  • You will be tertiary qualified in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or business administration
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, Excel is essential
  • ERP experience (AX2009 or D365 preferred)
  • Proactive work attitude with a keen desire to learn
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • English essential, Spanish preferred
  • Able to remain focused on key targets in a dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is critical to this
  • Excellent numerical reasoning skills
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
  • Exercise professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  • Compliance with GroundProbe and/or Orica Procurement and Inventory policies
  • Cost conscious

Your qualifications

  • 13 years related experience in Supply Chain management
  • Experience in high complexity, low volume procurement advantageous
  • Experience in inventory control and the use of ERP (AX2009 and Dynamics 365 advantageous) systems
  • Strong communication skills
