Job Title:
Corporate Safety Manager at Saalex Solutions, Inc.

Job Description:
Saalex Solutions, Inc. is in need of a Corporate Safety Manager to lead health and safety policies and programs while ensuring compliance across the organization. This position will also be involved in Quality Assurance initiatives.

Experience and Education:

Research safety regulations and inform senior management of changes.
Ensure all injuries and incidents are reported and managed according to company and Government requirements.
Manage safety assignments and projects to ensure adherence to regulations and determine needs for updating codes.
Lead organization-wide process improvement efforts.
Perform safety inspections, surveillance, and audits.
Investigate accidents, spills, and incidents to determine root cause and preventive actions.
Administer compliance with environmental protection programs.
Recommend and implement workplace safety and training programs.
Coordinate safety committee meetings and monitor hazardous materials in the workplace.
Administer Environmental Protection and Respiratory Protection Programs.
Participate in developing training programs and manuals.
Conduct research on training needs and trends in the industry.

Other Requirements:

Must have thorough knowledge of OSHA Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP).
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft products.
Position located in Camarillo, CA.
Frequent travel to Saalex Program sites.
Must be able to acquire and maintain a secret security clearance.

Special Knowledge and Skills Required:

Good organizational and planning skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and with various personnel levels.

Physical Requirement:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Dexterity to operate office and field equipment.
