Job Description

  • Responsible for managing various equipment platforms in the ETCH field at leading technology nodes in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Ensuring timely and high-quality production
  • Developing projects to optimize throughput, material consumption, defect density, and equipment availability while considering cost-benefit ratio and risk assessment
  • Systematic equipment monitoring using EC, SPC, APC, and FDC
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Creating and maintaining operating instructions and specifications for equipment, documenting and communicating equipment changes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment during the implementation of new processes and to solve integration issues
  • Working with suppliers and equipment manufacturers on joint projects
  • Interacting and exchanging knowledge with other factories and development sites within GlobalFoundries
  • Providing technical support to process engineers and training and mentoring maintenance technicians in production

Required Qualifications

  • Ideally, you have a degree in a technical field (preferably electrical engineering, microelectronics, mechanical engineering, or physics)
  • Alternatively, you have a technical degree and extensive maintenance experience, with previous experience in the semiconductor industry
