Description

NOVA Services, Inc. (NOVA) is a firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, special inspection, and materials testing services. Our clients include educational and healthcare institutions, private developers, as well as local, state, and federal government agencies. We have an opening for a Laboratory Technician in our Irvine office.

Minimum qualifications:

Must possess valid California Driver's License, a clean driving record, and $100K vehicle insurance
Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Possession of any of the following certifications is a plus: ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician or other ACI certifications, Nuclear Gauge Certification/HAZMAT Certification, NICET, and/or Caltrans.

Knowledge of Agile Frameworks MetaField a plus.

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting with laboratory testing of concrete and soils in conformance with established policies and industry standards
Input test results into testing software
Support in retrieval and delivery of materials samples
Assisting with soils field work
