Project Manager, Information Technology (One Year Only):

  • Wilton Woods Center

Description

  • Oversees and manages multiple technology projects impacting crossorganizational departments to ensure deliverables are coordinated to support successful implementations using multiple types of project management frameworks and methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum or Kanban); serves as the primary liaison between technology staff, product owners, and business sponsors to fully define the requirements and software specifications to ensure the desired outcome and value for all technology deliverables; collaborates with project teams and technical teams to support continued improvement and delivery through service and product lifecycles.

Qualifications

Required:


  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a field related to information systems, or business management.
  • Six (6) years of progressive work experience in information technology and technical project management, one (1) year of which shall have been in a technology project oversight capacity.
  • Project management certification (such as PMP, Scrum Master, or SSGI).
  • Knowledge of best practices with respect to customer service and customeroriented account management.
  • Knowledge of business and information technology practices and trends by comparable school systems or businesses.
  • Knowledge of technologyrelated issues and how they might impact on assigned customers.
  • Knowledge of appropriate local, state, and federal laws and regulations dealing with technology.
  • Skill in multiple types of project management frameworks and methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to implement technology solutions, work with multidisciplinary teams, and to function as a team leader.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Preferred:


  • Master's degree.
  • Agile certification (such as PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe).
