Join Our Team as a Procurement Specialist at Fairfax, VA

*To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must possess an Active TS/SCI with Lifestyle Poly*

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Program team to streamline the procurement process for materials needed, including making micro purchases with a credit card.
Assist programs in defining material requirements and supporting acquisition plans from initiation to completion.
Work efficiently across various government and client platforms in a dynamic setting.
Track material movements from production through inventory stages.
Coordinate forecasts, workloads, expedited processes, and acquisition priorities with team leaders.
Offer guidance to programs on the most effective material acquisition routes for program success.
Evaluate material needs for optimization opportunities, supplier suggestions, and acquisition planning.
Collaborate with the supply chain to determine the best acquisition approach from vendors to manufacturing.
Oversee production and delivery schedules effectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, OR a blend of certifications, training, education, or military background will be considered as a degree alternative.
Must hold an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph for consideration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Capability to manage multiple tasks and systems simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Basic proficiency in Excel, including creating workbooks, formulas, applying formats, and data sorting and filtering.
