    Description

    Imog (Intergemeentelijke Vereniging voor Openbare Gezondheid) is al 50 jaar de intercommunale voor geïntegreerde afvalverwerking in regio Zuid-West-Vlaanderen en is actief in verschillende pijlers van de circulaire economie. Dagelijks staan 165 medewerkers paraat voor een goede dienstverlening naar de verschillende stakeholders.
    Actieve technische duizendpoot die verbrandingsinstallatie monitort

    Een verbrandingsinstallatie met energierecuperatie is een onmisbare schakel in de circulaire economie. Een installatie die 24/7 actief is, vraagt een nauwe opvolging van het verbrandingsproces, de elektriciteitsproductie, het warmtenet, de rookgaszuivering en alle processen die hiermee verband houden.
    Als process control engineer/operator controleer je het goede verloop van de hele verbrandingsinstallatie. Je monitort de processen en de installatie vanuit de controlezaal en ter plaatse. Je draagt de verantwoordelijkheid over de werking van de installatie om de productie- en milieunormen te halen.
    Je werkt samen met een team dat in een volcontinu systeem werkt. Zelf werk je in een twee ploegenstelsel van maandag tot vrijdag. Tijdens je shift zal je samen met je collega's de controlezaal en de installatie bewaken en bijsturen.
    Een greep uit je takenpakket

    Je interpreteert diverse meetwaarden en stuurt de installatie bij om de productie- en milieunormen te halen
    Je voert testen uit, analyseert de resultaten en rapporteert bijhorende acties
    Je volgt natte rookgaswassing en fysicochemische afvalwaterzuivering op
    Je stelt onderhoudslijsten op
    Je doet verbetervoorstellen om de huidige processen te optimaliseren
    Je helpt bij de opleiding en begeleiding van nieuwe collega's
    Afhankelijk van de nood zet je je schouders onder projecten samen met de (adjunct) plant manager en/of coördinator verbranding.

    Je hebt een master- of een bachelordiploma in een technische richting. We zoeken een engineer of operator afhankelijk van je diploma.
    Je beschikt over een hands-on mentaliteit en kleine eerstelijnsherstellingen uitvoeren, schrikt jou niet af. Een goede basiskennis van elektriciteit en mechanica zijn daarbij een must.
    Je hebt een brede interesse in wetenschap en techniek: elektriciteit, thermodynamica, chemie,... en je wil vooral ook veel bijleren.
    Je bent communicatief en een echte teamplayer. Je bent flexibel op vlak van taken en uurregeling en bent bereid om in te springen waar en indien nodig.
    Je krijgt een opleiding en werkt daarna in een twee ploegenstelsel van maandag tot en met vrijdag; je wisselt per twee weken (dus twee weken vroege dienst gevolgd door twee weken late dienst). De vroege shift is van 5u00 tot 13u06 en de namiddagshift is van 13u00 tot 21u06.
    Een fulltime werkweek, contract van onbepaalde duur en verloning volgens barema met ploegtoeslag, een interessante verlofregeling, maaltijdcheques, een fietsvergoeding en tussenkomst voor openbaar vervoer.
