- Responsible for delivery of assigned project objectives for scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow. Ensure daily activities are aligned with overall project priorities and will work rigorously to complete project deliverables.
- Understand and comply with all site EHS, engineering and electrical standards and contribute innovative ideas to improve safety, promote efficiency, reduce cost, and increase performance.
- Support or lead the initiative to replace obsolete PLCs.
- Engage with operational teams and other internal customers to ensure satisfaction of agreed objectives.
- Collaborate with all levels of the operational team to gather input on project objectives and leverage opportunities based on historical challenges.
- Actively participate in the development of their own control engineering skills, functional competencies, and personal effectiveness.
- Develop capital plans and budgets that include cost, and resource requirements to meet both external and internal customers commitments.
- Support the annual operating plan process for the business unit.
- Develop and maintain key supplier/contractor relationships for consistent and reliable project execution.
- BS degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years prior controls experience
- Strong project management experience and motivation skills within all layers of the business
- Current experience with Allen Bradley Compact and Control Logic PLC's and Studio5000 programming environment. A-B FactoryTalk ME and SE.
- Act as Steward for the sites' Process Control Network, upgrading the Aveva Intouch application as new operating system and software become available.
- Current expertise with AutoCAD 2019 or higher, to create new drawings and edit older designs.
- Confident communications, both written and verbal
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Proven organization and teamwork skills within a manufacturing environment
