Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production targets are met.
You will work closely with the production team to maintain quality standards, optimize efficiency, and promote a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow as needed
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed by the production team
- Train new employees on production procedures and safety guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
- Implement and enforce lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of materials handling, press brake machines, machining, plastics injection molding, and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficient in using hand tools, lathe, and other relevant equipment
- Excellent problemsolving skills and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to operate a forklift is preferred
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Pay:
$80, $110,000.00 per year
