NEW Laboratory Manager/Supervisor opening at one of the most reputable reference laboratories in the United States This laboratory is known to follow rigorous quality standards and process controls to meet state and local regulatory requirements.
They are looking to hire an ASCP Certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)/ Medical Technologist (MT) OR SBB (Specialist in Blood Bank) to oversee multiple laboratories.
Responsibilities include:
supervising staff performing basic and advanced test procedures and interpreting complex test results.
You would provide complex consultation services to hospitals and assure compliance with safety policies and procedures in the work area.
In addition to the above certifications, applicants must have previous complex blood banking experience in either a hospital or a reference laboratory environment.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred.Requirements:
