- Conduct prehensive assessments of students' behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct support and counseling to students to address behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create positive behavior support strategies.
- Offer training and professional development for staff on behavior management techniques and interventions.
- Engage with parents and guardians to support students' behavioral progress at home.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of behavioral science and education.
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with middle or high school students in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of behavior management principles and intervention strategies.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and munity members.
