Associate Structural Analysis Engineer to join the engineering team in Berkeley, MO.

At Boeing, our engineers are the visionaries who shape the future of aerospace.Our innovative engineers develop the structural definition for the 777X structures platform and collaborate with a broad and motivated team to deliver safety and quality products to the customer.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
Works under general supervision
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
2+ years' experience performing stress analysis using both hand calculations and finite element tools
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Boeing Analysis Tools (Common Structures Workstation (CSW), Integrated Analysis System (IAS), CASTLE, PATRAN, NASTRAN)
Experience working with aircraft stress analysis/structural analysis
Typical Education & Experience:
(Associate, Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
