Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. This position requires a strong knowledge of medical terminology, administrative tasks, and clinical procedures.


Duties:

• Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
• Assist with medical coding and billing processes
• Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
• Provide patient education on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans
• Assist with Xray procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologist
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
• Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a plus
