    Boutique Recruiting has teamed up with a prestigious financial services firm in Los Angeles, CA to find an experienced International Tax Director to lead its international tax team.

    In this role, you will oversee all international tax operations, guiding a team of tax professionals while focusing on comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and strategic advisory services for high-profile clients in the music, entertainment, and sports industries.


    They are looking for a CPA with at least 8 years of progressive tax experience and a solid background in international tax matters.

    The perfect candidate will be a strong communicator with exceptional follow-through and proven leadership skills to guide a talented team in this dynamic, exclusive industry.

    Salary Range:
    $190, 000 - $290, 000 / year DOE

    International Tax Director Requirements

    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
    8-10+ years of progressive experience in tax roles, demonstrating significant advancements into leadership positions
    3+ years dedicated to international tax matters, with a proven track record of managing complex tax issues
    Previous leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to inspire, develop, and direct team members
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
    Advanced degree (Masters or JD) in a related field is preferred
    Experience with CCH tax software is highly preferred
    Previous experience in a Big 4 firm is advantageous but not required

    International Tax Director Responsibilities

    Lead and oversee the international tax department, directly managing a team of five tax professionals
    Develop comprehensive tax strategies that align with client needs across multiple jurisdictions, emphasizing strategic tax planning and compliance
    Liaise with UK and other global tax teams to ensure cohesive tax operations and client service delivery
    Direct responsibility for tax compliance tasks including but not limited to individual, corporate, and LLC tax filings for over 200 entities
    Design and implement tax structures and planning for high-net-worth international clients, focusing on efficiency and compliance
    Supervise and enhance the quality of work produced by the tax team, establishing standards and practices that align with industry best practices
    Manage substantial client portfolios with a focus on high-profile individuals and entities in the entertainment and sports industries
