    Job Description

    Impact Academy Middle and High Schools are looking for a dedicated Family and Enrollment Coordinator to manage family partnerships and student enrollment outreach at their Hayward campus.

    THE ROLE

    The Family and Enrollment Coordinator will be responsible for establishing systems to engage parents and community partners to enhance student attendance, academic performance, career exploration, and college preparedness. This position will closely collaborate with the Office Manager, Senior Director of Advancement, and school Administration, reporting directly to the Principal.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Family Engagement

    • Organize events in conjunction with school administration to involve parents and family members in school activities.
    • Lead all parent/family communication initiatives.
    • Assess the impact of parent engagement strategies through data collection and analysis.


    Student Recruitment & Enrollment

    • Coordinate school events with staff to enhance student family participation and promote the school's reputation.
    • Lead student recruitment at feeder schools and host visiting student groups.
    • Act as the main point of contact for families applying/enrolling during the academic year.
    • Manage SchoolMint platform.
    • Ensure completion of enrollment paperwork by families.
    • Support student retention efforts.


    Student Support

    • Work with school administration to develop support plans for students facing challenges.
    • Communicate student progress to all relevant parties.
    • Create and oversee youth leadership programs.


    Community Partnerships

    • Serve as the liaison for external agencies and programs interested in collaborating with the school.
    • Facilitate work-based learning opportunities.
    • Represent the school at community events.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 1+ years of relevant experience.
    • California residency.
    • Proven track record of working with diverse families.
    • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
    • Open to feedback and focused on enhancing outcomes.

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    Competitive hourly pay ranging from $31-37, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Full-time position offering paid sick leave, health benefits, 403b plan, life insurance, and professional development opportunities.
