    FLSA Status: Exempt

    Pay Grade: 1

    Salary Range: $42,611 - $63,916

    Gaming Class: Compact/Gaming

    Position Summary:

    The Technology Specialist I will provide technical assistance, support, and training to the administrative and front-line staff of Fortune Bay Resort Casino. The Specialist will also provide support and assistance in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer workstation hardware and software, information networks, and associated information systems and equipment.

    Qualifications – Education and Experience:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    It is recommended that the IT Specialist have a two-year technical degree related to Information Technology or have a minimum of two years' experience in providing technical support and assistance in a similar capacity. In addition, the following knowledge, skill, and abilities are required:
    • Basic knowledge of contemporary intelligent workstation software products and packages.
    • Basic knowledge of computer network concepts, equipment, and facilities.
    • Basic knowledge of techniques, procedures, and methods of installing, maintaining, and operating intelligent workstation hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
    • Basic knowledge of contemporary PC-based and server-based operating systems.
    • Skill in analyzing and effectively resolving routine software, network, and equipment problems.
    • Skill in reading, interpreting, and understanding hardware principles and operations, technical manuals, and software specifications.
    • Skill in prioritizing and completing projects proficiently, accurately and on a timely basis with limited supervisory review.
    • Skill in communicating clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Skill in understanding and effectively carrying out oral and written instructions.
    • Ability to keep up to date on technological developments and trends.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with co-workers, supervisory staff, customers, and other Bois Forte Development Corp staff.
    • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job.
    • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information encountered on-the-job.
    • Ability to work effectively on technical and inter-disciplinary project teams.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in Tribal Gaming/casinos.
    Work Environment:

    The work environment is fast-paced and requires overall good mental and physical health.

    Physical Demands:

    Title: Technology Specialist II

    Department: Information Technology

    Salary Range: $46,020 - $69,030

    Gaming Class: Compact/Gaming

    Position Summary:

    The Technology Specialist II will provide stability, integrity, and efficient operation of Fortune Bay Resort Casino and Bois Forte Development Companies' operating systems, enterprise applications and hardware that support core organizational functions. The incumbent will monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems. The Specialist II will provide input for new in-house initiatives and direct interactions with IT staff and vendors for outsourced components in the network arena. The Specialist II maintains a cooperative working relationship with those contacted in the course of work activities; interacts with in-house staff and vendors.

    Qualifications – Education and Experience:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, management information systems, information technology or a closely related field; OR graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate's degree in computer science, management information systems, information technology, or a closely related field AND two (2) years full-time paid verifiable experience in desktop administration; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the Human Resources Director.

    In addition, the following knowledge, skill, and abilities are required:
    • Possession of a valid driver's license.
    • Basic knowledge of the standard concepts, practices, and procedures within IT customer support.
    • Basic knowledge of PC management and Microsoft Windows OS(s).
    • Basic knowledge of active directory, group policy and Microsoft Server OS(s).
    • Basic knowledge of mobile device management and operating systems.
    • Basic knowledge of printing management and support.
    • Basic knowledge of local area networks, virtualization, imaging, encryption, and enterprise level antivirus applications and management.
    • Basic knowledge of IT inventory management systems.
    • Ability to efficiently problem-solve and execute tasks in an environment with rapidly changing priorities.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to learn, adapt and remain current in emerging technologies and standards.
    • Ability and willingness to participate in educational opportunities.
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, with the understanding that unauthorized access and/or dissemination of data may be prohibited.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in Tribal Gaming/casinos.

    Title: Technology Specialist III

    Salary Range: $49,701 - $74,552

    Gaming Class: Compact/Gaming

    Position Summary:

    The Technology Specialist III will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of complex IT service requests and projects for Fortune Bay Resort Casino and Bois Forte Development Corporations' operating systems, enterprise applications and hardware that support core organizational functions. The incumbent will be responsible for building and maintaining the organization's systems. The Technology Specialist III will provide new in-house innovations to the Director of IT. The IT Specialist III will be key to maintaining and improving all IT related assets for Fortune Bay Resort Casino and Bois Forte Development Corporation.

    Qualifications – Education and Experience:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    At least two (2) Years of experience in Fortune Bay Resort Casino's IT Department with a proven track record and the recommendation of the director of the Department; OR graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, management information systems, information technology or a closely related field OR four (4) years full-time paid verifiable experience in desktop administration; and graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree in computer science, management information systems, information technology, or a closely related field OR six (6) years full-time paid verifiable experience in desktop administration; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the Human Resources Director. In addition, the following knowledge, skill and abilities are required:
