Description

We provide services in environmental, health and safety, construction, property and building maintenance, and labor compliance projects to our clients at federal, state, local, and commercial institutions.

• Prepare cost estimates for federal, state, local, and commercial construction, construction management, property maintenance and management, and environmental projects based on standard engineering methods and practices.
• Analyze and evaluate offers provided by subcontractors and vendors.
• Write cost proposals, scope of works, budget reports, and project plans.
• Prepare project schedules for complex projects through MS Project or Primavera P
• Schedule meetings with clients, office staff, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Have experience with different estimating modules preferably as many as possible from; parametric, analogous, threepoint, topdown, bottomup (engineering), PMIS, and vendor bid analysis estimation modules.
• Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to navigate specifications and plans.
• Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at once.
• Knowledge of the latest federal, state, and local building codes, regulations, and requirements.
• Can use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Close attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or mathematics is required.
• Training and certification in Estimating (preferred)
• At least three (5) years of experience in estimating federal, state, local, and commercial projects.
