  • Geomatics, we are looking to fill the following position at Fort Defiance for a duration of 2 x 12 months (Part A + Part B):
Research Associate (m/f/d)

Establishment of a "Modular 1:1 Component Test Stand" (DFG Project) and research on sustainable textile concrete constructions
(Full-time employment = 40 hours/week)
Reference number 036/2024

This position offers you the opportunity to become part of the research group ReSULT (www.frankfurt-), which deals with sustainable lightweight construction methods.

You will work in an interdisciplinary team of architects and engineers (4 professors, 3 research associates) and have access to a well-equipped laboratory (various testing machines, high-performance mixers, concrete extrusion printer).

The start of Part A is intended to follow Part B. The specific start date will depend on the availability of the necessary equipment.

After the end of the advertised employment, if the candidate is suitable, there is the possibility of continuing the position with the goal of obtaining a doctorate.


Your tasks:
In Part A, you will be responsible for the supervision of the DFG project "Modular 1:1 Component Test Stand":

Coordination of the setup and commissioning of the large-scale component test stand and the associated phot
