Feed Mill Production 2nd Shift

Oracle Pork Nutrition, Peru, Indiana

Oracle Pork Nutrition (OPN) is looking for motivated individuals for general production to work in our new integrated feed mill operation in Peru, Indiana.

OPN is looking for experienced grain/feed mill operators and general production team members to work in our state-of-the-art facility.

As an hourly production team member, you will be responsible for ensuring quality product in a safe and efficient manner.

We are a growing feed mill operation and want people that want a challenging yet rewarding position.

This position works Monday through Friday including some Saturdays. Second shift hours are from 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Orientation and training will be on first shift for the first two months.

Benefits and Pay

This production position earns a competitive wage of $18.36 per hour. Once trained and qualified, it will amount to $19.66 dollars.

Responsibilities:

Work cooperatively with other team members to meet daily goals
Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
Ensure production requirements and standards are met consistently
Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
Inspect ingredients and products to ensure quality and specifications are met
Adhere to all safety guidelines when handling of materials in facility
Report any issues or problems with production to supervisor
Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
Perform other duties as needed or required

Qualifications:

Ability to multitask in a work a fastpaced environment
Previous machine/grain milling equipment operation experience is a plus
Willing to work in extreme hot, cold, wet, humid, and odorous environments
Commitment to follow safety policies and practices and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Capable of performing the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods of time, repetitive motions and lifting a weigh of 60 pounds or higher when required
Willingness to attend classes and training as needed
