The Garcia Molecular Genetics Research laboratory is looking for a Laboratory Technician to provide technical support, perform directed basic science research, and train and supervise undergraduate in research.

Responsibilities
The technician will assist in research relevant to Dr. Garcia's research. This will include preparing experimental materials, reagents and buffers; performing experiments; collecting, recording, and maintaining records of experimental results and complete and accurate logs of methodological details. The technician will perform data analysis and prepare presentations.
In addition, the technician will perform administrative duties overseeing the lab (e.g., inventory and orders of laboratory supplies; chemical hygiene, upkeep of equipment) and will train undergraduate students as needed.
