- Prepare, record, verify, and report accounts payable transactions
- Pay vendor invoices on a timely basis
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable general ledger accounts
- Respond to payables related inquiries from vendors and internal team members at South College
- Evaluate current processes and procedures and recommend changes
- Perform other duties and support other staff as needed.
- Assist with the annual external audit, including the preparation of audit schedules and documentation
- This role has the potential to add responsibilities over payroll and fixed assets in time

Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college, preferably in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relatable work experience.
Experience:
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Preferred experience in Public Accounting
A minimum of 3 years of experience in business related job roles.
Proficiency with Word and Excel
