OK2 Construction self performs rough/finish/trim carpentry, flooring, painting, electrical and plumbing for our National Park projects.

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
• Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear when necessary
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter or similar role
• Solid knowledge of painting techniques and tools
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications
• Familiarity with building materials and their properties
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Excellent color vision and understanding of color theory
• Basic carpentry skills for minor repairs or preparation work
• Experience with airless paint spraying is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
