SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER CONTRACTOR (temporary)

We are I'RAISE, a small non-profit organization in New York City. We focus on mental health advocacy/services + program, and academic enrichment program at underserved NYC schools


Our Integrative Mental Wellness School Program in New York City is looking for
ONE Part-time School Social Worker Contractor (temporary) who can commute to one school in Manhattan one day per week on Fridays.


Monthly Temporary Contractor Role Details:


Title:

Rate:
$50 per hour for the workshops


Schedule:
For May 2024 month, all Fridays, 2 to 5 hours per day, and 2 to 5 hours on June 4th

The River School: 425 E 35th St, New York, NY 10016_


Contractor Timeline:
Friday, May 3rd, 2024 to Tuesday, June 4th, 2024


Payment Process:
Monthly Invoice (net 30)
. The contractor's pay is contingent upon doing their workshops and sessions, getting session and case notes, attendance of the students/participants, and providing documentation/reports to the company at the end of each month, and providing monthly invoice


School Social Worker Contractor Job Functions:

  • Provide Bullying Prevention Workshops and any relevant and other workshops as needed, one day per week on ALL Fridays in May,
  • Prove professional development workshops on June 4th,
  • Take workshop sessions notes, attendance, and create reports
  • Provide workshop notes and reports to I'RAISE
  • Other tasks as required

Job Requirements / Qualifications:


  • LCSW highly preferred
  • LMSW License required
  • Must provide a copy of MSW College Diploma and an LMSW License + Registration Certificate
  • Must have experience with Bullying Prevention Workshops and conduct mental healthrelated, professional/personal developed, and parent supportrelated workshops
  • Must have individual, group, and family session experience and expertise

Must be able to work:May 3rd, May 10th, May 17th, May 24th, May 31st, and June 4th, from 2 to 5 hours per day

Must have completed the Department of Education (DOE) Background / Fingerprint Clearance within the past three years and have eligible status.
