Server/barista - Newport, United States - Provencal Bakery

Description

Busy cafe looking for an energetic, friendly, hardworking person with serving and coffee experience. Responsible for the cleanliness of the cases, tables and front of the cafe. Willing to learn about products which include bread, pastry, coffee, soup, meals, sandwiches and salads. Some baking. Works well with others, is personable and accomodating with the customers. Day shifts only.


Qualifications:

• POS experience
• Customer service skills
• Barista experience preferred
• Coffee knowledge or experience
• Food safety certification
• Ability to handle cash transactions
• Basic math skills
• Previous experience with Aloha or Micros POS systems is a plus
• Strong time management and sales abilities
