    Job Position: CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

    Location: Houston, Texas

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and collaborate with the team to develop anesthesia plans.
    • Administer various forms of anesthesia and manage post-operative care.
    • Contribute to the 'Code Blue' team, handling emergency airway and resuscitation situations.
    • Ensure patient confidentiality and a secure care environment.
    • Implement professional nurse anesthesia practices into patient care.
    • Explain anesthesia risks, benefits, and options to patients.
    • Prepare patients and procedure areas for anesthesia administration.
    • Administer diverse anesthesia types with continuous patient monitoring.
    • Supervise post-anesthetic care for optimal recovery and pain management.
    • Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation.
    • Stay updated on anesthesia advancements in techniques, pharmacology, and equipment.
    • Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate airway management and resuscitation techniques.

    Requirements:

    • Current, unrestricted license from a U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
    • Minimum of two (2) years' CRNA experience.
    • Graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
    • Certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
    • Proficient in spoken and written English.
