Position Objective:
Manage & grow sales within a defined territory through direct interactions with end user customers.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Utilization of Sales Force for customer relationship management.
- In person meetings with customers to manage, service, or grow sales
- Collaborate internally with management, engineering, & customer service to support customers.
- Utilize the sales process to effectively close opportunities.
Account Management:
- Manage & develop customer relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Maintain, protect, & service existing business
- Manage inventories of Swagelok products at customer locations.
- Meet & build rapport with wide range of customers from maintenance technicians, maintenance managers, engineers, & project managers.
Business Development:
- Develop & close opportunities that are more complex, technical & longer sales cycle.
- Develop strategic relationships within accounts to influence business outcomes.
- Utilize internal sales resources, such as engineering & business development, to advance & close opportunities.
- Deliver a solutionoriented sales approach to uncover pain points & solve customer challenges.
- Provide technical demonstrations of our products & services to key customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- Experience in a sales or engineering environment
- Computer literacy required in Microsoft Office Products. Salesforce literacy a plus.
- Travel within assigned geography or account territory
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
