The Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office Rhein-Ruhr-Wupper (CVUA-RRW) is currently seeking a full-time Pathologist for the field of veterinary medicine at the central location in Krefeld, initially for a period of two years.
Your responsibilities will include conducting autopsies on domestic, farm, wild, and zoo animals, as well as evaluating histological samples to determine animal diseases, zoonoses, and other animal illnesses. You will also be responsible for assessing animal welfare-related cases and conducting parasitological diagnostics.
Your tasks will include:

Performing pathological-anatomical examinations and creating reports
Your qualifications:

Completed university degree in veterinary medicine with a valid license to practice

Several years of professional experience in the field, particularly in pathohistological diagnostics

Fluent German language skills at level C1 (spoken and written)
Desirable qualifications:

Specialization as a veterinary specialist in pathology

A doctorate degree

Experience with speech recognition software, modern laboratory information management systems, and quality management systems
