- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain accuracy in warehouse operations.
- Lead supply chain processes to optimize cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of recognition, feedback, and development among warehouse personnel.
- Ensure adequate staffing, training, and policy enforcement within the department.
- Plan for future departmental needs and coordinate with purchasing for material requirements.
- Monitor and control department budget while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on technological advancements in warehouse management.
- Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)
- 7+ to 10 years of leadership experience in warehousing (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience with budget preparation and performance management (Required)
- Prior experience in an electric distribution setting (Preferred)
- Ability to resolve customer and employee concerns effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures, inventory control, and material planning.
- Valid Florida Driver License required.
- Valid Florida Driver License Upon Hire (Required)
- Professional certification in inventory management or warehousing (Preferred)
- Physical Demands: Standing, Walking, Lifting up to 50/100 lbs occasionally, Handling, Talking, Hearing, Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination.
- Working Environment: Noise, Hazards, Temperature Changes.
