Antonius Hospital gGmbH in Eschweiler, affiliated with the RWTH-Aachen as an academic teaching hospital with 398 beds, is a recognized and established medical competence and health center in the region.

We are currently seeking a
Healthcare and Nursing Professional, Elderly Care Nurse, or Nursing Assistant (m/f/d) for our pool of substitute staff to start as soon as possible, due to restructuring.

This position is available in full-time or part-time.

What are the advantages of the substitute staff pool?

After a structured training period, you will support your colleagues wherever assistance is needed due to absences or increased demand.

You have the opportunity to design your work schedule according to your preferences, ensuring schedule stability.

Therefore, the substitute staff pool is particularly suitable for nursing professionals on/after parental leave, students with nursing education, retired nursing professionals, and those who prefer to work on an hourly basis.

If desired, there is also the possibility of increasing the number of hours and being permanently assigned to a specific ward.

Your responsibilities:

You are responsible for the competent and respectful care and treatment of our patients
You recognize emergencies and initiate appropriate first measures
You are responsible for the pre and postoperative care of patients
You conduct patient observations, collect measurements, and document them in a timely and compliant manner
You maintain accurate documentation
Interdisciplinary collaboration with other professional groups and departments
Adherence to nursing and quality
