    Description

    Enterra Medical, an emerging, U.S. based medical device company, markets a novel, implantable neurostimulator focused on the treatment of nausea and vomiting secondary to Gastroparesis. The Enterra Medical business was launched as an independent company in January of 2022, spinning out of Medtronic.

    The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing accounts payable and other financial transactions, timely and accurately. This role is part-time, with an expected 16-20 hours required per week. The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Controller and interface internally with Department leaders and the Senior accountant. The Accounts Payable Specialist communicates with vendors to resolve any discrepancies and works to maintain good relationships with vendors.
    Responsibilities:

    • Record vendor invoices to the accounting system and setup invoice for approval.
    • Apply accounting concepts for proper classification of transactions including expenses, prepaids, and fixed assets
    • Maintain accurate vendor records and review aged accounts payable schedule
    • Assist in month end close activities.
    • Willing to assist in other projects as needed
    Requirements:
    • High school diploma required.
    • Associates or BA Degree, in Business Administration preferred.
    • 3+ years experience in Accounts Payable or accounting
    • Reliable and trusted team player
    • Experience with or similar AP integration systems
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including MS Excel
    • Accounting software (ERP) experience required
    • MS Business Central experience is preferred
    • Self-motivated and detail oriented
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
