    About the Company and Job Role

    The BRICK Education Network (BEN) is currently operating in Newark, New Jersey, and gearing up to launch in Buffalo. Join us in our mission as we introduce the BRICK Buffalo Academy Charter School to the East Side of Buffalo.     Overview of the Position

    At BRICK Buffalo, we aim to empower students to become community leaders who take pride in their identities. As we seek founding teachers, we look for individuals who can build strong relationships with students and families and are dedicated to overcoming barriers to success.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Show interest in working with students from diverse backgrounds
    • Remain empathetic to students' experiences to guide behavior responses
    • Create a positive and collaborative classroom environment
    • Implement unit and lesson plans to drive student learning and development
    • Attend all necessary meetings for effective communication and development
    • Utilize data to tailor instruction to student needs
    • Enforce school-wide systems and structures
    • Participate in school events and home visits to build strong relationships
    • Exemplify BRICK core values in all actions

    Qualifications

    • Commitment to student success and personal development
    • Ability to set and achieve ambitious goals
    • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proficiency in computer applications
    • Experience working with children preferred
    • Willingness to attend professional development sessions
    • Authorized to work in the United States

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary Range: Competitive based on experience
    • Employment Period: Eleven/Twelve Months
    • Fringe Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401 K
