Location:
North Florida - FCC Environmental Services of Florida LLC
Position Summary:
This role will provide support to all aspects of Human Resources within our operation.
Provides human resources management and assists all members of the team within the market including employee engagement, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- This role reports to the Regional Human Resources Business Partner
- Provides human resources support to all members of the team within the operation.
- Working with the corporate HR team and local operational leadership to develop and implement programs to maximize employee engagement, performance, and development.
- Coach and counsel management and hourly employees regarding policies and procedures, discipline, interpersonal, and teamwork opportunities.
- Manage the onboarding process and follow up with new team members as they integrate into our culture. Maintains high levels of engagement with team members at all times using various employment engagement programs and strategies.
- Works in collaboration with internal business partners in HR, Operations, and Health & Safety.
- Provides training to employees on company policy, employment law, and best practices.
- Supports various aspects of an employee's relationship and engagement.
- Regional contact for employee requests.
- Gathers employee feedback to identify areas of improvement through interactions made in person with our workforce.
- Encourages and manages a strong and positive work culture among all employees.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, or 5 years of work experience.
Experience and Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of previous HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
- Spanish language proficiency required and French Creole preferred.
- Must have had previous experience managing a broad range of employee relations matters with a dispersed workforce.
- Experience with time management skills, prioritizing, and meeting deadline expectations.
- Excellent communicator with a strong ability to influence company culture.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness and ability to overnight travel up to 50% required.
- Experience using Workday is a plus.
- Bias for action and operational excellence.
- Possesses a servant leadership approach to supporting the field.
