What to expect

As a railway operator / shunting driver for our company railway at K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH in Bergmannssegen-Hugo, Sehnde, you will take on the following tasks from - or as soon as possible -:

Ensuring the scheduled execution of shunting operations using radio remote control
Formation and dissolution of trains
Operation and maintenance of locomotives as well as carrying out work in the track system
Active implementation of all regulations in the areas of safety, health and environmental protection

What you bring

Successfully completed vocational training in a technical trade
Authorization to operate a Class 1 locomotive, training as a shunting driver is desirable
Relevant professional experience in shunting operations
Sense of responsibility, reliability, flexibility and commitment
Medical fitness for duty in railway operations
Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts)
Fluent German language skills (at least B2 level)
