    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a senior system architect with experience in timing requirements of electronic systems used by the Aerospace and Defense industry and or US military.
    • Oversee the understanding of existing and future electronic systems used by the aerospace and defense industry and military related to timing products including, clocks, oscillators, clock trees, synchronization of time and frequency, GNSS, APNT, Radar, PGM, UAVs, networking, and communication.
    • Interact with CTO offices, architects and senior engineers at strategic customers including all military prime contractors and support their system design effort by understanding the timing requirements, identifying the best timing solutions and key values of SiTime's timing products in the customers system.
    • Proposal and support of the definition of new products to be developed for the aerospace and defense market, including the interaction with SiTime's engineering organization to identify the best and most successful product architecture.
    • Manage and build a comprehensive network to key government agencies and evangelize the SiTime timing products and technology.
    • Lead the effort to get government funding for new product and technology development projects.
    • Support of sales effort by identifying leads and opportunities based on technical merits, connections, system solutions and overall networking in the timing community.

    It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage comprehensive understanding of timing requirements in aerospace and defense applications, identify key values of our products to accelerate the adoption.
    • Support marketing and sales with collateral including data demonstrating the values and advantages of SiTime products.
    • Generating a network of key influential system architects and higher level engineering staff at strategic customers, participation in customer meetings to support the sales of our products.
    • Interaction with government agencies and strategic customers to promote SiTime's technology, identification of solutions and architectures using SiTime timing product values.
    • Identification of opportunities and proposals for government funding and owning the application process.
    • Product definition and insertion into SiTime's product roadmap process based on aerospace and defense customer requirements.
    • Travel to customer and government agencies through out the USA and less frequent travel oversea.

    Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):

    • MS or PHD in engineering, 10+ years of working experience
    • Established personal network in the aerospace defense industry and related government agencies.
    • Experience in working with government agencies such as DARPA, ARL, AFRL, NRL,...
    • Experience in working with customers on engineering problems and architectures.

    Base pay is one part of SiTime's Total Rewards Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity-based compensation.
