Job Description

We are looking for tax professionals to fill staff accountant positions, with the knowledge and skills to work with clients to meet their tax, accounting and consulting needs.

Experience/Knowledge

Basic knowledge of Federal and state income tax laws
Ability to prepare tax returns
Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, clearly and effectively
Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

Preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, non-profits, trusts and estates
Prepare written correspondence and other documents for submission to the IRS and other tax authorities
Balance multiple clients and time budgets

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Accounting
Prior experience in public accounting
Prior experience preparing individual and business tax returns
Accounting and analytical skills
Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word
Excellent interpersonal skills working with other staff and clients, oral and written communication
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task with a strong work ethic
