Summary:
The Warehouse Pick/Pack associate is responsible for efficiently pick and pack customer orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
The Warehouse Pick/Pack associate will collaborate with the team to enhance overall warehouse efficiency, conduct quality control checks, and contribute to a safe working environment.
Job Role/Responsibilities:
- Picks orders accurately within standard timeframe.
- Packs orders accurately within time standards.
- Puts away products accurately and timely.
- Receives products accurately with standard timeframe.
- Maintains 5s model by standardizing, sorting, straightening, and sustaining throughout the warehouse.
- Responds to customer requests, including part lookup and willcall pick up.
- Works with good intention and a focus on relentless improvement.
- Follows processes in a detail oriented, accurate and consistent manner.
- Works to become the expert and crosstrains with team members in the various work activities of the warehouse.
- Demonstrates understanding by carrying out written or oral instructions correctly.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation, does other warehouse duties as required.
- Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers, coworkers, managers including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Respectfully takes direction from the manager.
- Other warehouse duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of warehouse operations is preferred.
- Must be 17 years of age.
- Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions written, verbal, or in schedule form.
- Ability to follow workplace rules and procedures.
- Valid forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.
Qualifications:
Physical
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, squat twist or turn multiple times a day.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, materials handled vary.
- Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate tools and parts.
- Must demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
