Research Scheduling Specialist (Part-Time, Full-Time)Location:
Chicago, Ill
This role reports directly to the Recruitment Manager. Openings are for part-time or full-time, non-exempt positions, per FLSA guidelines.
The following duties must be carried out by the Research Scheduling Specialist
- Follow consistent and proper procedures when scheduling participants using various software and scheduling methods
- Answer in person or online study inquiries throughout the day via various contact methods
- Greet and check in participants with a friendly and positive attitude
- Maintain professionalism when communicating with participants
- Utilize google apps and functions to fulfill recruitment needs
Allocate time wisely between scheduling for simultaneous studies, and be able to change priorities quickly as needed
- Stay up to date with recruitment needs for current and upcoming studies
- Maintain an organized and neat workstation
- Maintain a neat and sanitary lobby area
- Communicate daily with coworkers regarding appointments, tech issues, and updates
- Notify a Manager of any scheduling, technical or participant problems
- Avoid distractions that impede on scheduling progress
- Follow proper procedures to process participant gift cards and study compensation
- Carry out general opening and closing duties for the office
- Data coding and data entry as needed
- Review of research study stimuli as needed
- Proofreading of study surveys and documents as needed
- Daily data file exports from research computers
- Other duties as necessary

The lab usually operates 5 days per week, and facilitates data collection from 9AM-5PM.
Ability to work various shifts, including weekends is ideal - but some flexibility is allowed if agreed upon by the supervisor.
