We are looking for an experienced F&B Cost Controller to join our New York team, based at Hudson Yards in Manhattan.

Position Overview:

The Food and Beverage Cost Controller is responsible for ensuring the effective management of food and beverage costs within an organization.

It is expected to work closely with the F&B team to monitor inventory levels, analyse costs, and develop strategies for cost reduction.

Responsibilities includes maintaining accurate records and providing timely financial reporting.


Main duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cost control procedures for all food and beverage operations;
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that food and beverage costs are within budget;
• Work closely with the F&B team to analyse costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction;
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, such as portion control, menu engineering, and waste reduction;
• Maintain accurate records of all food and beverage purchases, inventory levels, and costs;
• Provide timely financial reporting to management, including cost analysis and variance reporting;
• Provide training and support to F&B staff on cost control procedures and best practices;
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations;
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management;

Occasional Duties:

To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as dictated by unexpected business levels
