- Supervising and providing leadership to frontline staff
- Manage day-to-day operations of the unit
- Dispense medication
- Complete treatments
- Communicate information regarding resident needs through written and verbal communication to appropriate staff members
- Observe proper infection control and safety procedures
- Respond positively to feedback (questions, suggestions, problems) from residents, guests, family members and fellow staff
Position Type
This is a full-time position, working a mix of 8 and 12 hour day shifts. We offer flexible scheduling to promote work/life balance. Shifts are 6-230 and 6-630.
Every third weekend - 6:00am 6:30pm Saturday and Sunday
3 holidays per year, rotating each year to avoid working the same holidays
Competitive compensation based on experience, plus additional $2.50/hour is paid for Charge Nurse supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Qualifications - Current MN RN or LPN licensure
Ideal Candidate - Strong leadership skills to lead the team
- Flexibility with working a med cart and assisting frontline staff with cares
- Welcomes feedback from guests, residents and fellow staff
- Prioritizes patient safety by paying close attention to detail when dispensing medications and completing treatments
