    Job Description:
    Become part of Essentia's accomplished team in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, where numerous lakes offer plenty of options for water sports and recreation. These cities, located 125 miles north of Minneapolis, are central to the Brainerd Lakes Area, a popular vacation spot in the state. Brainerd-Baxter, with a population of 65,000 residents, is in one of the fastest-growing counties in Minnesota. Here are the benefits you'll enjoy:

    Education Qualifications:

    What you'll be doing in this role:

    • Organizing and providing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
    • Leading a team and delegating care tasks to other nursing staff based on their licensure and job descriptions.
    • Contributing to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, benefiting the community.
    • Meeting regulatory requirements from the Joint Commission and other agencies.
    Our Medical Unit deals with:
    • Stroke and neurological patients
    • Respiratory cases like COPD
    • General medical conditions including diabetes, infections, and GI issues
    • Post-procedural care for surgeries like hernia repairs
    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
    • BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program

    Certification/Licensure Requirements:

    • Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
    • BCLS certification or ability to obtain within a month of hire
    FTE: 0.75
    Shift Rotation: Day/Night Rotation (United States)
    Shift Start Time: 0700 and 1900
    Shift End Time: 1930 and 0730
    Pay Range: $57.72 per hour

    The displayed compensation range is approximate, the final offer will be based on experience, skills, and other factors.

    Weekends: Every Third
    Holidays: Yes
    Union: St Josephs MNA RNs
