Teleworking employees may be required to report to their headquarters office location on designated telework days. Travel expenses are not reimbursed, however other authorized transit subsidies do exist for those who qualify._Under the direction of the Chief Budget Officer, the Staff Services Manager II (Supervisory) serves as the Assistant Chief Budget Officer - Expenditure and is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the activities of the Financial and Business Management Division - Budget and Revenue Management Bureau (FBMD - BRMB) - Budget Office - Expenditure Unit.
This is includes directing the preparation, development and administration of the department's annual budget with the Department of Finance (DOF) via FI$Cal - Hyperion.
Responsible for directing the development and maintenance of the FBMD - BRMB - Budget Office systems required to convert FI$Cal reports for the Budget Office to develop, prepare, monitor, and present fiscal data for executive management and Branches/Programs.
Responsible for directing the monthly/quarterly reviews of expenditures and the presentation of the status reports to executive management and Branches/Programs for the unique/complex Expenditure Unit assignments.
Responsible for directing the development and preparation of fiscal recommendations for executive management on various fiscal related matters impacting the California Department of Insurance (CDI).

Working Conditions
