Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Body Shop Paint Specialist is to offer a top-notch retail experience to customers while upholding a standard of excellence in a performance-driven setting. Success in this role is gauged by achieving maximum hour efficiency, providing top-tier paint repairs without any need for reworking, and ensuring utmost customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should boast at least five years of experience in a dealership setting or a shop that prioritizes continuous improvement processes.

The Collision Center Technician we are seeking is an experienced auto paint expert who takes great pride in the quality of their work, holds a valid driver's license, has experience in tear-down and finish work, exudes professionalism, and is adept at driving both automatic and standard vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Effectively complete tasks as outlined on repair orders with precision and adherence to dealership, insurance company, GM, Mazda, and Kia standards
  • Promptly notify the body shop manager of any extra work required, if the outlined work is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be finished as promised
  • Thoroughly document all work done and recommended on the repair order, including proper flag sheets and technician notes
  • Engage in ongoing training programs and certifications to stay current with industry standards
  • Ensure cleanliness of body shop areas daily before leaving
  • Maintain dealership tools in good condition and follow proper accountability procedures
  • Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines related to hazardous waste disposal and other applicable regulations
  • Support the learning of other technicians and mentor new team members by demonstrating best practices
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Other duties as assigned
