The primary responsibility of the Body Shop Paint Specialist is to offer a top-notch retail experience to customers while upholding a standard of excellence in a performance-driven setting. Success in this role is gauged by achieving maximum hour efficiency, providing top-tier paint repairs without any need for reworking, and ensuring utmost customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should boast at least five years of experience in a dealership setting or a shop that prioritizes continuous improvement processes.

The Collision Center Technician we are seeking is an experienced auto paint expert who takes great pride in the quality of their work, holds a valid driver's license, has experience in tear-down and finish work, exudes professionalism, and is adept at driving both automatic and standard vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Effectively complete tasks as outlined on repair orders with precision and adherence to dealership, insurance company, GM, Mazda, and Kia standards
Promptly notify the body shop manager of any extra work required, if the outlined work is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be finished as promised
Thoroughly document all work done and recommended on the repair order, including proper flag sheets and technician notes
Engage in ongoing training programs and certifications to stay current with industry standards
Ensure cleanliness of body shop areas daily before leaving
Maintain dealership tools in good condition and follow proper accountability procedures
Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines related to hazardous waste disposal and other applicable regulations
Support the learning of other technicians and mentor new team members by demonstrating best practices
Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Other duties as assigned
