Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document thermal distortion measurements
  • Support internal physical inspections using scanning acoustic microscopy and optical microscopy
  • Ensure tool automation and data processing through programming with Python
  • Assist colleagues with daily tasks and various work packages

Study Field:
Currently studying electrical engineering, physics, microsystems engineering, or a related degree program with at least 3 completed semesters

Experience: Previous experience in quality control or laboratory environment

Skills: Strong programming skills, preferably with Python and/or MATLAB

Interests: Interest in working with microscopes and learning about different testing procedures

Personality: Reliable and strong team player

Language Skills:
Fluent in German and good English skills

Required Documents:
English CV, certificate of enrollment at university, latest grades transcript (within 6 months), high school report


Important Information:
-
Part-time work: This position is suitable for working students during the lecture period, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
-
Proper students (according to German law) are welcome: Must be enrolled and have not completed all examination results or modules, with a minimum availability of 6 months. Cannot be on a semester leave.

Location: Must live close to Farmington, WA to work on-site regularly.
