- Adheres to AORN standards and hospital policies for maintaining operative patient care quality and safety.
- Prepares patient environments, anticipates surgical needs, and assists in patient care during procedures.
- Identifies and addresses safety hazards, participates in continuous learning, and efficiently organizes tasks to meet patient care requirements.
- License: NBSTSA or NCCT certification, or LPN license.
- Minimum education: Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Repetitive use of hands, lifting up to 40 lbs, physical activities like stooping and kneeling.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, or standing.
