The Santa Fe Springs location is seeking a
Materials Associate I, (Shipping Dock) to join the Wheels and Brakes Landing Systems team at the Los Angeles Service Center in Santa Fe Springs.

In this 1st shift role, you are responsible for the inventory control of our wheels and brakes including piece parts.

You will successfully manage inventory procedures for receiving inventory, shipping, and reordering.

You can or are willing to be trained to operate powered industrial vehicle (forklift) to load, store, and deliver all inventory items.


This position is working onsite 5 days per week at our Santa Fe Springs, California facilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Managing receipts and shipments of aircraft wheels and brakes:

-
Responsible for maintaining inventory control of piece parts such as bearings, bolts, bushings:

-
Maintain the inventory using Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP):

-
Effectively communicates with the customer and internal businesses:

-
8 hours of standing and lifting to 40 lbs

Work on a variety of tasks as assigned:


Basic Qualifications:

-
Must have a HS Diploma.

In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required

Experience with shipping/receiving and/or inventory control procedures:

Experience with Enterprise or Materials Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) software:
